2.11 Site Survey

The Site Survey tab displays read-only results of various tests and counters for

verifying the quality of the wireless link. This information can be used to help

determining where to position the units for optimal coverage, antenna alignment

and to assist in troubleshooting.

The Site Survey tab is comprised of 4 secondary tabs: Traffic, Tx Counters, Rx

Counters and Per Modulation Level Counters (SU) or Per SU Counters (AU).

2.11.1 Site Survey Traffic Tab

The Traffic tab displays general Ethernet traffic statistics for the selected unit.

2.11.1.1 Ethernet Counters

 Tx Packets: Displays the total number of packets received from the Ethernet

port.

 Rx Packets: Displays the number of packets transmitted by the unit to the

Ethernet port. These include packets received from the wireless medium and

packets generated by the unit itself.

To reset the Ethernet counters to zero:

to reset the Ethernet counters to zero. This reverts to 0 also the

Tx and Rx counters.
